Consultant Digital Programmes Manager with Allegra Burnette Associates, Qatar Museums, Qatar (2019-2020)

Helping Qatar Museums establish a new Digital Directorate with digital products and programmes fit for a 21st century world class arts and heritage institution.

  • Managed the implementation of a strategic digital presence for the opening of the new National Museum of Qatar. Primary liaison between offshore strategy consultants and Qatar Museums’ staff and senior management, delivering strategic objectives on the ground

  • Developed a practical social media content plan and production schedule to facilitate timely production of visual and written materials on a weekly and daily basis, in alignment with strategic objectives and responding to changing priorities as reach increased. Audience reach peaked at 1 billion ahead of the opening of the museum

  • Identified design template and instructed technical implementation of a website for the National Museum, delivered in an extremely tight timeframe, with limited content and resources. Website page views exceeded 400,000 around the opening of the museum

  • Compiled features roadmap for the development of Qatar Museums’ Culture Pass mobile app, meeting the strategic vision set by senior management and aligning with marketing objectives

  • Provided UX and UI design expertise to the team delivering Qatar Museums’ new ticketing portal resulting in a clear instructional interface
